This how-to guide will focus on how to create and manage products within Advvy. Products are a set of records that can be created and associated with Clients, Campaigns and Team Groups, and may be another useful field in your reporting. It is not mandatory to add a product to a campaign, however it is recommended to add products to utilize the Team Groups and Advvy Team Work functions.
Products can be whatever your agency or client needs to define for a campaign. Products can be physical products (brand products) or can be defined as intangible products (“Events”, “Aged Care”, “Fundraising”).
The Products section allows you to view, add, edit, delete, activate / deactivate, and assign products to clients in this section.

How to add a new product in Advvy:
- Navigate to the products section
- Click +New at the top of the screen
- Enter the Name, Product Code, and select a Client
- Selecting a client will unlock the Product Classification field
- Select a Product Classification
- If the product classification you are looking for is not available, create a new one using the section below
Note: You can also add a new product classification from the drop-down menu that appears when you search for a product classification
How delete or deactivate a product:
- Navigate to the product section
- Add a checkmark next to the product you want to delete or deactivate
- Press the delete or deactivate button on the ribbon bar at the top of the screen
- It’s best to deactivate a product if there’s a chance you’ll use it in the future, as the product can be reactivated
- If you delete a product, it cannot be recovered
How to add a new product classification:
- Navigate to the Product Classification section
- Click +New at the top of the screen
- In the Name field, enter a name of the product classification (Example: CPG)
- Select a Client to associate with this Product Classification
How delete or deactivate a product classification:
- Navigate to the product classification section
- Add a checkmark next to the product classification you want to delete or deactivate
- Press the delete or deactivate button on the ribbon bar at the top of the screen
- It’s best to deactivate a product classification if there’s a chance you’ll use it in the future, as the product can be reactivated
- If you delete a product, it cannot be recovered
Checking products that are associated with a client:
Follow these steps to check which products were added to a client record.
- Navigate to the Clients section
- Click on the client you want to review
- Navigate to the products tab:
- This displays a list of products and product classifications associated with the client
