Master Data: Buying

Market Types, Markets, Demographics, Ethnicities, Languages, Fees
Buying Master Data consists of one primary entity (Markets) and five minor data entities (Market Types, Demographics, Ethnicities, Languages and Fees)
The Media entity hierarchy diagram below shows the relationship between Markets, Market Types and Mediums.
The Campaign entity hierarchy diagram below shows the relationship between Markets, Fees, Audiences (Demographics/Ethnicities) and Campaigns.


Note: All Master Data entities need to have Unique names.
Market Types
- The Market Types Entity can be used to categorise Markets. (Mandatory)
- eg National, International, Regional etc
Markets
- The Markets Entity is a primary entity that has a direct relationship to Market Type and is also be referenced in Mediums.
- Use Markets to define locations, states, regions etc.
Demographics
- The Demographics entity is a repository of Audience definitions.
- Demographics are related to Campaign details where Primary and Secondary Audiences can be selected from the demographics list. (Optional)
- eg All People, All Males, All Females, All People 18yrs+ etc
Ethnicities
- The Ethnicities entity is a repository of Ethnicity definitions.
- Ethnicities are related to Campaign details where it can be included in the Audience group (optional)
- eg Asian, Asian American etc
Languages
- The Languages entity is a repository of language definitions.
- Languages are not directly related to any other entity but can be populated via Media Plan sync data.
Fees
- The Fees entity is a list of Fee names.
- Fees are related to Campaigns and can be populated by Media Plan sync.
